The legislation commences redeployment of U.S. forces no later than May 1, 2007 with the goal of removing all combat brigades from Iraq by March 31, 2008, a date that is consistent with the expectation of the bipartisan Iraq Study Group.The bill was introduced by Barack Obama, whom I'm relieved to see giving up his triangulation act.

My biggest concern with forcing the troops home is that the terrorists will come with them. They certainly won't settle down and live happily ever after in Iraq.
Drat. That hadn't occurred to me.
I guess we'll have to keep some soldiers in Iraq in perpetuity, as decoys to draw the fire of The Terrorists.
