Anecdotal evidence

So reading Focus On The Family's list of seven signs of gender confusion in young boys, I see at least five of these signs when I was a kid. I have lived in San Francisco for the last eight years, so I've had every opportunity for any lurking homosexuality to surface.

And yet, strangely, I am heterosexual.

I can only conclude that Focus On The Family has no fucking idea what they're talking about.

Many others agree.

That is just wrong in so many ways I can't even start. Especially since I'm heading out to work. But I want to note how interesting I find it that on a page titled "Is My Child Becoming Homosexual?", they only talk about boys.

Which tells me that becoming a lesbian must be okay!

A favorite bumpersticker of mine simply says "Focus on your own damn family."

Gender identification and sexual preference - different animals, yes? The quiz was really stupid, I agree.

A tendency to be bulled by others? What does that mean?

Finn,

Somewhere, I have some notes I took while watching some antigay guy sputtering on about lesbians on the Daily Show.

It turns out that the problem with lesbians is that they "predatate" all the attractive women, leaving behind only ugly ones for straight men.

I can't make this stuff up.
